Paola King-Borrero was born in Colombia, raised in Aotearoa New Zealand and lived many years in Greece. Her artistic career has spanned decades of experimentation with many forms and genres. She is greatly influenced by her international background, cultural sensitivities and her education in both Art History and Painting. She has taught Art History and Visual Arts and has been exhibiting in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas for over 30 years. She currently works at Auckland Art Gallery and the Naval Museum in Auckland Tamaki Makaurau.
Yeonjae Choi is a Auckland Tamaki Makaurau based ceramic artist. Yeonjae has been working with clay since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT University in Melbourne before moving back to her hometown. Her works are a study in the relationship between interior and exterior of the vessel and she takes inspiration from her Korean heritage to inform her ideas. Yeonjae’s works have been displayed at the Pah Homestead and acquired by the Wallace Arts Trust. She also finds joy in teaching kids ceramics in local art centres.
Linda Yang lectured as a Professional Teaching Fellowship in Art History at the University of Auckland, where she previously completed her Masters in Art History. Linda also interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, and was part of the Education team at the Auckland Art Gallery.
